InterContinental Suzhou By IHG

Excellent location, with view on the lake. Very spacious room. The breakfast is simply excellent.

Cleaning staff was extremely friendly. Wrote personal notes to let me know what had been cleaned etc.Location was great especially if your room is facing the Jinji lake.

A bit far from places of interest

Big and clean room. comfortable beds. The best part is the location -- a short walk are restaurants, a retail building, and a bridge with view of the lake. Also, the wifi works! We could connect to it.

The hotel is in a great location; there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby and sight-seeing of the river. The room was clean and big and had a beautiful view of the Suzhou skyline and river. Breakfast had a variety of food. What I loved best was that the wifi actually worked. I've stayed in other 5-star hotels in China but the wi-fi was either so slow or as a foreigner, I couldn't access it, even if the hotel provided "free wifi." Intercon Suzhou was the first hotel I've stayed in where the wifi worked properly and as promised.

Good location and view

Breakfast not tasty

Excellent breakfast selection Nice and quiet room with great lake view Friendly staff and services

Perfect location , large room and very good amenities …

25 m pool . Able to continually swim training . Clean pool. Well done maintenance and cleaning crew

Far from old town .Suggestion - Hotel to Consider operating a free shuttle bus between. Intercontinental and old town and the Classical Chinese gardens . That would round off a perfect stay at the intercontinental.

Super hotel great food and location, staff was great, room absolutely beautiful

Extremely friendly and helpful. I arrived 4 hours early from a 10 hr Australian flight and I was checked in to my room immediately. Thank you concierge Phil and Nacy at the desk. Very high standard hotel *****

Great location with fabulous view from my room. Upgraded to a suite. They also checked me in within my room. Great service and very friendly.

Bit pricey.

Fantastic lakeside hotel with lake view room; Handy to interesting locations

Beautiful lake view, convenient location, excellent perks come with the best room.

Nothing really.

Very helpful staff, great service, nice breakfast, good location.

The pool wasn’t working and I didn’t find any warning/ notification on the website about it.

great room, nice location, beautiful views

excessive paperwork when checking in, and a complete lack of environmental awareness. We were informed that the local government does not allow single use plastics for consumables like shavers, which would not be provided. in the room. Then a big stack of plastic wrapped single use plastic utensils was given to us on checkin, "from the hotel". This is really stone age thinking and does not suit a hotel of this class. Why is not more done to protect the environment? Why is the hotel not doing anything to AVOID single use plastics? This could be a selling point where now it really turns me and my family off from visiting again. I hope management staff can become more educated about these matters.

This hotel is my favorite hotel and was recommended to other friends. They’re also like this hotel as well. The accommodation good and clean, nice staff good location.

everything is good but still have some room of improving especially the staffs who’s have to manage guests during breakfast time better be more professional to handle the situation once have no seat available should be provide another options such as suggested for set breakfast in room or well manage waiting list do not allow others guest jumped in the line. That's make me unhappy.

Nice location. Some rooms have good views.

Usually something not working: first time was the pool, this time the gym was closed.

Excellent location and fabulous lake view, helpful and friendly staffs they are prompt assistance, property perfectly quite & clean.

The lobby area crowded ppl come to get along the famous restaurant here.
